w i m is approximately 30 minutes long and is performed
on stage and screen by four performers. Three of the performers appear
via the internet using cross-platform chat applications ivisit and the
Palace.
Technical Requirements:
 broadband
internet connection
- firewall:
if there is a firewall, this may need to be configured to allow data
transfer on ports 9998 and 9990 (for the Palace) and ports 9943, 9945
and 56768 for iVisit. This will need to be tested in advance of the
performance.
- data
projector and screen (or very clean white wall).
- sound:
CD player and speakers (computer needs to be connected to the sound
desk).
- lighting:
2 spots or birdies and low general wash (needs to accommodate data
projector), fairy lights, other lights as available.
- technician/operator
- table
and/or stand for laptop.
- performance
space: minimum floor area approx. 4 sq. m., preferrably larger.
- set
up: minimum four hours.
